Knife & Axe Maintenance Kit

As we know maintaining your edge is critical whether you are wild camping, carving or looking after your kitchen tools. As a Bushcraft Instructor I wanted to put together a useful maintenance kit. Something that is simple to use for any knife, axe, scissors or chisel.

Maintenance Kit Contents:

Leather Carry Bag - To Hold it all together 
Contains a 300/600. Grit Diamond Sharpener
Lapping Fluid - A couple of drops on the diamond stone before using it.
Leather Strop - Barbour's never sharpen their cutthroat razors, they just keep them sharp with a strop
Stropping Paste - For use with the leather strop
Wire wool and oil - After sharpening or use to remove residues, clean and remove rust
